James started his career in Retail Management after completing his Diploma of Retail Management. Then in 2012 he commence his optical dispensing role at a Corporate Optometrist where he completed his Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing. During this time he worked with a number of companies and worked his way up to Store manager.

In May 2021 James decided to expand his optical knowledge and skills in peadiatric optometry. Therefore he commenced working as an Optical dispenser at Chih-Chi Lee Behavioural Optometrist.

In his spare time James enjoys playing tabletop and board games. He is an active follower of Australian and English football and used to play for his local club.
